Can Christians Trust the Bible? Building a Biblical Worldview | Sabrina McDonald

What does it really mean to have a biblical worldview—and how do Christians apply it when culture challenges what they believe?

Steve Marston talks with author Sabrina McDonald about her book, The Bible, Politics and Culture: A Biblical Worldview Guide for Christian Women. Their conversation begins with the foundation of any Christian worldview: Can the Bible actually be trusted?

Sabrina explains why she believes Christians need more than opinions or political talking points. They need to understand the biblical foundation behind what they believe and be prepared to answer difficult questions about Scripture, faith and culture.

The conversation explores biblical reliability and apologetics, the relationship between faith and cultural engagement, marriage and family, sexuality and gender, the influence of ancient beliefs on modern ideas, and why Christians need to understand Scripture before attempting to engage the culture around them.

Although Sabrina wrote the book specifically with Christian women in mind, the discussion applies much more broadly to anyone who wants to develop a worldview rooted in Scripture rather than simply adopting the assumptions of the surrounding culture.

The goal isn't simply to win arguments. It's to know what you believe, understand why you believe it, and learn how to stand faithfully on biblical truth.
